Lekaiban Counseling Services specializes in the following issues: depression, anxiety, anger management, relationship, HIV/AIDS, Sex Health, Employee Assistance Programs and routine outpatient mental health services.
Lekaiban LLC was founded November 2009 in Silver Spring, MD. The medical practice offers traditional individual, couples/family and group therapy by licensed mental health providers.
In Fall 2012 The Clinic and Medical practice moved to Laurel, MD and is currently located across from Laurel Regional Hospital at 14201 Laurel Park Dr., #221, Laurel, MD 20901.
Fall of 2018 Lekaiban LLC continue to provide counseling services at the Clinic in Laurel, MD and has expanded services to include three new division of services:

Le Andrea Banks, LCSWC is the CEO and Founder of Lekaiban. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in individual, family and group therapy. Her company offers therapy and counseling services in the Metro DC.
Ms. Banks is a practical, interactive, cognitive behavioral and solution focused therapist. Her treatment approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients resolve current problems and long-standing patterns. She incorporates a blend of conventional and alternatives approaches, drawing upon a variety of styles and techniques to incorporate what will be most helpful for each client. With sensitivity and compassion, she works with each client to help them build on their strengths to identify and achieve life goals.
With over 20 years experience as a licensed clinician, she is currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. As a seasoned health care professional, she has experience working with children, adults and their families. She have a motley of experience in the following settings: in children and adult inpatient hospitals, outpatient clinics and residential facilities, veteran hospitals, hospice, nursing homes, private practice, teaching graduate students in social work and the US Army’s adaptive leadership program for officers.
She has a BA in Psychology from the University of Connecticut and Master Degrees in Social Administration Planning and Social Work from Temple University.
Le Andrea has specialties working with bereavement, end of life, HIV/AIDS, leadership training, life and professional coaching.
